The gallery "Lola Nikolaou" was founded in January 1993 in Nea Egnatia and in 2003 it moved to its current location in the neoclassical building of Tsimiski 52, in the centre of Thessaloniki. The aim of the gallery was to promote contemporary art in Thessaloniki and to familiarize the art-loving public with all its forms. the gallery was the first to present several important artists from Greece and abroad, whom it continues to showcase, while it is constantly renewed with new artists with an important present and interesting future. it has collaborated with museums and other artistic institutions and has participated in international exhibitions.
